BACKGROUND

Serviceability is one of four Strategy Session topics that will help distill existing policy, ongoing engagement, and high level discussion into a set of policy proposals. Those policies will then be bolstered by action steps devised by the KC Spirit Playbook planning staff and refined through public input and discussion.

If you aren't able to attend a Strategy Session, you can always participate by completing the surveys at the bottom of this page.

Serviceability topics are based around the city's operations and ability to sustainably serve Kansas Citians with adequate infrastructure and city services.

Topics to be covered at Serviceability Strategy Sessions include:

  • Infrastructure needs
  • Infrastructure maintenance
  • Economic development
  • Hazard mitigation and resiliency
  • Service delivery
  • Regional cooperation
