This phase has been completed and is closed. For more information contact OEQ@kcmo.org.

Thank you to everyone who attended our strategy sessions!

This phase focuses on collaborating with Kansas City residents and organizations to explore strategy ideas that will help our community reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create more resilient neighborhoods. We want to hear from community members what has worked well, what hasn’t, and what existing activities are happening in Kansas City that we can support.

Need ideas for what climate strategies look like? Explore the Climate Action KC Playbook and 2008 KCMO Climate Project Plan and let us know which strategies are needed in your neighborhood and your ideas for how we can use work with neighborhood organizations, businesses, and residents to take action.

Though we have moved to the next phase of the planning process, you can still share your climate stories to the Listen & Learn tab.

If your group or organization would like to request a presentation or would like to host a listening session, please email us at OEQ@KCMO.ORG. Also, please share with us any upcoming climate-related community events or activities that you think we should attend.
